Yam is much stronger thanhe seems, he knows the importance of being able to stay on ones feet forextended periods of time when healing is needed.
Personality: Yamada is kind and people tend to respect him due tothe fact that being on the wrong side of a healer is never a good thing. He is logicalwhenit comes to those that seek his medical expertise, he always tend to the onethat needs the help most. He is also good to talk to; he tends to have a cup oftea ready when someone knocks on his door.

Background Information
History: Yam died as an infant, only 9 weeks old and wasluckily enough brought to district 2 in western Rukongai were he was adopted bya family. It became apparent early on that the boy had substantial reiatsu, andhis adoptive mother attained food from Seireitei to feed him.
Yamada wastaught by his parents in the arts of healing as it was their occupation, and totheir great pride and joy the youngling was able to use his reiatsu whilstworking. They encouraged him to apply to the Academy but he failed the teststwice before being accepted.
In theAcademy it became clear that Yam had gift towards the healing, and less inbattles. His scores in the fighting areas were deplorable, and Yam wasconvinced that he would be kicked out entirely, however his scores in thetheoretical subjects allowed him to stay in school.
