Squad Zero

John said that maybe we should allow a squad zero?
I'm all for it, but they should be good RP'ers. I'm not sure about all the details.. I would ask John about them.

Squad zero, i read is a secret squad. obviously being Zero its even greater then squad 1, Squad Zero's purpose is to be the Soul kings personal body guard. This is made up of Former captains who have attained this level of skill.

well neot exactly, its just, if anyone wanted to join Squads 1-13 whats wrong with having a 0? and because it would sorta fit the story line because they would be searching for me

The problem with having a squad zero is that they are called off and cant return to gotei 13 except on special occasions. Their job is to protect the soul king, nothing else, so they wouldnt be able to do much, I mean its not like the soul king just parades himself around everyday.

you wouldnt need a different application. just, when it asks for rank you put whatever rank you want, like 5th division captain, zero division captain blah blah. there just the best of the captains, now there not exactly stronger then the captain commander just the other captains

Squad 0 would not be greater than Squad 1, seeing as Yamamoto stated he was the strongest Shinigami in existance. That being said, just because it's Squad 0 doesnt make it greater than 1, as Squad 13 isnt weaker than Squad 7 or 6, and Squad 4 isn't greater than Squad 12. They just have a different duty.

Also, the whole plot thing. The Spirit King being in the World of the Living? Highly unlikely... I know it's an interesting plot, but the Spirit King would likely never even leave his dimension (which isn't the Soul Society, just letting you know. Because it's been stated that the Oken is needed to enter the Dimension that the Spirit King resides in) and he has special duties, so unless someone somehow got the Oken, got past the entire Gotei 13, got past the whole entirety of Squad 0, they wouldnt get to the Spirit King, and i highly doubt the Spirit King would even be forced out of his dimension >_>

just want to say a little bit, obviously if the soul king needs protections hes not very powerful, as he is a figurhead. and squad zero was only a bunch of advanced captains =/

I want to say something: Has anyone ever considered that MABYE he IS the most powerful thing, but he is so important he has protection so that there isn't even a CHANCE that he could be killed? Also, Squad 0 isn't JUST a bunch of advanced captains, they are the most ADVANCED of the advanced captains. Better then any captain on the show at the moment. They were chosen SPECIFICALLY bec ause they were stronger then the other captains.

We know she's powerful enough to take on Yammy single-handedly, when it takes Kenpachi and Byakuya to not-even-exactly-win.

Id just like to say, seeing all this debate on whos "stronger" i never said that anyone in squad Zero is stronger then the captain commander....so yeah its kinda irrelevant
